Les Moeller
VP, Cleveland

Les Moeller is a Vice President with Booz & Company and leads the firm’s North American Consumer, Media and Digital Practice. Mr. Moeller has more than twenty years of consulting experience and twenty two years of experience in the consumer products industry. His primary areas of expertise are sales and marketing, trade promotion effectiveness, and the development of new business models to drive growth and reduce costs.

Mr. Moeller’s extensive experience with Trade Promotion Excellence includes identifying over $200 million in pricing and promotion effectiveness for a leading food manufacturer, redesigning the trade funding and planning process for a major packaged goods manufacturer, developing a regional pricing and marketing process for a major food company resulting in trade spending savings and their first profitable quarter after six months of loss. Mr. Moeller also led the integration of trade promotion management capabilities following the merger of two consumer products companies by developing predictive models and implementing improved processes, organization, and systems.

Previously, Mr. Moeller led the firm’s global sales and marketing service offering.

Mr. Moeller received an A.B. cum laude in Philosophy from Harvard College.



Steffen Lauster
VP, Cleveland

Steffen Lauster is a Vice President with Booz & Company’s Consumer, Media and Digital Practice. Mr. Lauster has more than twenty years of consulting experience with consumer products companies and has expertise in corporate growth strategies, revenue management and channel strategies, trade promotion management, and strategic transformations. He has five years of direct experience leading trade transformation programs primarily for food companies.

During his career at Booz & Company, Mr. Lauster has worked with the firm in its offices in India, Germany, and the U.S. He has worked with many global CPG companies to develop domestic and international growth strategies, and designed and executed against global strategic planning processes.

Mr. Lauster holds an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business Administration and an undergraduate degree in business administration from the Berufsakademie Stuttgart. During his MBA studies, he received the William Michael Shermet Award and the Faculty Award for Academic Excellence.



Hans Van Delden
VP, Dallas

Hans Van Delden is a Vice President with Booz & Company and leader of the firm’s Trade Promotion Excellence service offering. In his sixteen years with the firm, Mr. Van Delden has worked extensively in the Consumer & Retail industries and specializes in business intelligence and marketing, advertising and promotion effectiveness. He has extensive experience in the design and implementation of business applications for the CPG industry.

Mr. Van Delden has ten years of direct experience helping clients transform their trade strategies and trade promotion capabilities. He has led trade programs for major consumer packaged good companies in the food, beverage, consumer healthcare, and household non-durables industry segments.

Mr. Van Delden has worked in 10 countries across the Asia, Europe and the Americas during his tenure with Booz & Company.

Mr. Van Delden holds BS degrees in Mathematics, Civil Engineering, and Management, an MS degree in Civil Engineering, and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.



Ed Landry
VP, New York

Ed Landry is a Vice President with Booz & Company’s Consumer, Media and Digital Practice. Mr. Landry has more than twenty years of consumer goods industry experience and works closely with senior executives on strategy and sales and marketing effectiveness across a broad range of consumer and healthcare businesses.

Mr. Landry led the development of a trade promotion and pricing effectiveness capability for a leading consumer healthcare company in conjunction with a sales force transformation initiative. The effort included developing predictive models and implementing improved processes, organization, and systems resulting in a 20+-point improvement in the promotion return.

Mr. Landry has led efforts for other CPG companies around sales and marketing integration, portfolio evaluation, sales force incentive analysis, and has redefined entire sales force strategies.

Mr. Landry earned an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also has a BA in Economics from Lafayette College.



Tom Casey
VP, Chicago

Tom Casey is a Vice President with Booz & Company’s Consumer, Media and Digital Practice and a senior leader of our Information Technology team. Mr. Casey has more than twenty years of business and technology experience and specializes in large change initiatives with Consumer, Retail and Media firms. He contributes deep experience in IT and systems strategies, post-merger integration, trade promotion management, and analytical marketing to support client goals.

Mr. Casey led his first trade promotion engagement in 1995 for a $8B branded food manufacturer. Since then, he has led numerous trade promotion transformation programs for major CPG companies in the consumer healthcare, beverage and food segments. For these programs, he has led tool selections, solution designs, and system implementations.

Mr. Casey is a graduate of the University of Illinois/Chicago, where he earned an MBA, and also holds a BS in Physics from the University of Illinois/Urbana.



Paul Leinwand
VP, Chicago

Paul Leinwand is a Vice President in Booz & Company’s Consumer, Media and Digital Practice. Mr. Leinwand has been with the firm for eleven years and focuses on strategy development, customer management, trade promotion effectiveness, and organization design for the consumer products industry.

Mr. Leinwand has helped many consumer product companies redesign their overall go-to-market program to better align customer requirements with manufacturer offerings. Programs have included pricing and trade promotions, organizational structure development, process development, differentiation programs (e.g., category management) and overall capability / systems development.

Mr. Leinwand also has extensive experience developing capabilities specific to customer management focused on the strategy of defining customer segments and allocating scarce resources to specific services. He has also led the development of specific capabilities including category management, supply chain, consumer insights and customer marketing.

Mr. Leinwand received a MBA with distinction from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. His areas of concentration were Marketing, Finance and Management and Strategy. He also received a BA in Political Science from Washington University.



Jaya Pandrangi
Vice President

Jaya Pandrangi is a Vice President in Booz & Company’s Consumer, Media and Digital practice.  Ms. Pandrangi is an expert in sales effectiveness and the development of channel strategies, focusing on consumer products and durables companies.  She has led numerous engagements including development of micro-zone strategies based on shopper insights, creating guidelines and processes to improve trade promotion effectiveness and efficiencies, and designing next generation retail programs including incentives to ensure shelf-placement and compliance.

Ms. Pandrangi joined Booz & Company in 2000 as an Associate.  Prior to joining Booz & Company she worked with an engineering consulting firm.

Ms. Pandrangi received her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Chicago and also holds a Master’s in Science in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech.



Steve Treppo
VP, Cleveland

Steve Treppo is a Vice President  in Booz & Company’s Consumer, Media and Digital Practice. He is an expert in sales and marketing effectiveness and has extensive experience leading global PMIs for consumer companies and sales force/marketing effectiveness in a variety of industries and geographies, including personal care, pharmaceutical, retail banking and global conglomerates. Mr. Treppo has published in the area of building marketing effectiveness and trade promotion capabilities in global companies.

Mr. Treppo joined Booz & Company as an Associate in the New York office in January 1999. Prior to joining Booz and Company, he designed innovative medical devices for the Hospital Products Group at Pfizer. He also worked as a researcher for Harvard/MIT’s Division of Health Science Technology Program.

Mr. Treppo received his PhD in Medical Engineering/Medical Physics from the Harvard/MIT Divison of Health Science Technology and his MS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.  His undergraduate work was at the University of Toronto where he received his Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering.

Trey Alexander
Principal, Dallas

Trey Alexander is a Principal at Booz & Company, and a senior member of the firm’s Trade Promotion Excellence service offering. Mr. Alexander has over eighteen years of consulting experience working with clients in the consumer products, media, energy and pharmaceuticals.

Mr. Alexander specializes in helping clients develop strategies and capabilities that improve trade promotion, marketing and sales efficiency based on the principles of ROI Marketing.

Prior to his work with Booz & Company, Mr. Alexander gained over five years of experience in all phases of system integration engagements, including business requirement definition, process analysis and definition, functional and technical design, build, system and user acceptance test management and post-conversion management.

Mr. Alexander holds an MBA in Strategic Management and Information Strategy from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a BS in Communication and Computer Science, Magna Cum Laude, from Vanderbilt University.



Steve Stefani
Principal, Chicago

Steve Stefani is a Principal and a senior member of the firm’s Trade Promotion Excellence offering.  Mr. Stefani has 17+ years of business and technology experience.   His specialties include developing Trade Promotion and Analytical Planning Systems for CPG companies and is a recognized expert in requirements analysis, systems design, business process and project leadership.

Prior to joining Booz & Company, Mr. Stefani was a partner in a consulting firm specializing in systems solutions for CPG companies.  As a partner, he was responsible for developing business, creating proposals, and leading teams in implementations.  Mr. Stefani also has experience as a product manager responsible for developing an Application Server, as well as various other off the shelf solutions for software developers.  Mr. Stefani began his career at a major international tax consultant where he primarily developed and supported systems for use by the corporate tax practice, and their clients. 

Mr. Stefani holds a BA from Knox College.



Charles Lukkes
Principal, Cleveland

Charles Lukkes is a Principal in Booz & Company’s Consumer & Media practice. Mr. Lukkes has six years consulting experience, specializing in Trade Promotion Effectiveness, sales strategy / effectiveness and pre and post merger integration.

Prior to joining Booz & Company, Mr. Lukkes gained over 15 years of consumer products sales and marketing experience, including senior sales and trade marketing experience, channels development, category management, and business development with a number of top-tier consumer companies.

Mr. Lukkes received his MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and his BS degree in Finance, minor in Economics from Montana State University.



David Ganiear
Principal

David Ganiear is a Principal in Booz & Company’s Consumer, Media and Digital Practice.  He has extensive experience helping organizations drive significant operating income improvement through the development of world-class promotion effectiveness capabilities, with particular focus on program structuring, platform strategy, analytics, and value realization.  In addition, he has helped several organizations across industries develop capabilities to leverage digital channels, with a particular focus on the following industry-related trends:  digitization of content in media, digital marketing in consumer, and e-commerce / multi-channel integration in retail.

Mr. Ganiear joined Booz & Company as an Associate in the Dallas office in August 2004. Prior to joining Booz and Company, he was a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers focused on IT security.

Mr. Ganiear received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern and a BS in Electrical Engineering with minor in Mathematics from Bucknell University, where he graduated summa cum laude.



Bart Sayer
Principal

Bart Sayer is a Principal in Booz & Company’s Consumer, Media and Digital practice.  He specializes in go-to-market strategies across online and offline channels for consumer packaged goods companies (food & beverage, health & beauty), retailers and marketing services firms. Mr. Sayer  has led several engagements on pricing and pricing architecture strategies, including trade promotions management and spend optimization analytics

Mr. Sayer joined Booz & Company as an Associate in the New York office in October 2004. Prior to this, he worked as a management consultant for four years based in Paris, France, working primarily for Financial Services, Media & Entertainment and CPG companies.

Mr. Sayer received his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, concentrating in Finance and Marketing. He also holds a Master’s in Public Policy for the Institute of Political Studies in Paris (“Sciences Po”) and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania.



Jon Van Duyne
Executive Advisor, Atlanta

Jon Van Duyne is an Executive Advisor and senior member of the firm’s Trade Promotion Excellence service offering. Mr. Van Duyne’s primary expertise is focused on organization, processes and technology improvement for sales, marketing, and trade promotion operations.

Prior to joining Booz & Company, Mr. Van Duyne spent 25 years with consumer products and technology organizations, including leadership of four turnarounds which involved process redesign, IT systems implementations, business strategy formulation, channel strategy and execution, instillation of KPIs and other analytics to monitor organizational performance.

In his last role, he was CEO of CAS Americas, a leader in Consumer Products industry solutions.

Mr. Van Duyne holds an MBA from the William E. Simon School of Business, University of Rochester, as well as a BA from Syracuse University.
